Did you guess skates? Here are my tracks! .... it was the rare perfect day on the lake.... just before it snows & it has been cold enough for the lake to be frozen over.

Look the perfect tree!! This is the most amazing tree.... of our years of Charlie Brown trees we ended up w/ a beautiful tree.... I guess because we had no expectations or vision.

Jack is learning to "lead climb" at the climbing gym. This is his GPS project for 8th grade. He gets a mentor which thankfully "Jessie" at the Rock Dump agreed to for Jack. Every day he gets better at climbing, and is now learning be the first one up the route setting belaying line s for those who follow.
Waters high and getting higher
18.1 fall tide witha South east wind. This could be troublee for us if things get gusty with a 20 foot tide. Maybe new carpet down stairs isn't the best floor covering with an immanent flood of the down stairs someday.

BIG STORM
Can't really call it the storm of the century... cause Ive only lived here for 1 year..... but I am impressed. Big winds, blasting @ the house, big waves crashing on the beach, rain, sleet, snow all in the last hour. You see.... we don't usually have waves... let alone ones that crash on the beach for hours... I know wierd... ocean, but it is different here! No losses... John's skiff didn't even float away :(

Christmas in November????
Here are the boys in .................YES!!!! our hot tub!!!!! It arrived over the weekend (its Canadian yeh?) we are pretty freaking excited! Last winter was our first without a hot tub.... it was hard... but we survived ...barely. So... if you can't find us.. we are around make... hanging out in the tub.

We have a friend (whos name shall not be mentioned) that likes to blow things up. He made us an amazing roman candle 3 part exploding pumpkin.... I do not have any live shots... cause ... who knew? Here are the remains.....

The cabin
Here is the cabin in the Catalina MTNs... pretty swanky... huh? Mom has done a beautiful job decorating... quaint, cute touches everywhere. Pretty comfy

Stayed in this giant log cabin with the Mellors. Here is Tim/Nancy standing on the front porch. Doesn't Nancy look fabulous in her gown!!! Apparently there will be more around Halloween.

Outside Gig Harbor.. cruising the waters around Tacoma. Had some amazing weather, no complaints.
