Easter!

Putting together Easter Eggs Alaskan style.  Saw a little blurb on the net about "Tea eggs" cracking them and reboiling  them with tea and soy sauce etc. Thought maybe coloring and pickling them would be a  step in the wrong direction but proceeded anyway. Pickle juice includes the usual fridge ruminants, jalapenos, beets, brown sugar and 100% vinegar. What could go wrong?. This will be ready after the mandatory 7 day seeping period to both the willing and the unwilling.
