Back to important matters.... this is dirt.../rocks... two of my favorite things. What goes in dirt... plants... yet another one of my favorite things. This is my latest new garden bed. Hope to complete by the weekend.... just 2 more to complete before the end of the summer.... wish me (and my back) LUCK!

Fathersday feast

what a week.

Happy Father's DAY!

Good morning!! Happy Father's Day from your 2 favorite Alaskan family members!!! We have a big steak dinner planned and a day of rest for you..... but alas, you are in California. Maybe next week?
Jack is off to scout camp this afternoon, he is all packed and ready. I was going to have his eagle scout cousin hike him out... but he is feeling quesy? Got Jack's patches on his shirt... it only took 2-3 years to complete. I am feeling pretty proud.
Yesterday, we toured "SNET", that is pretty freakin amazing! James Bond stuff for sure! Sadly, uneventful solstice, I had a cocktail and basically passed out.

Well... you know how I like to do projects when you are out of town. Hope you like your new bedroom! Almost done... still have to make the drapes... couple pictures... maybe you can shop @ Neals store and find something you like that is big enough to fit over that beautiful empty space over the bed. Any landscapes or some great big boat pictures... whatever?

Boys handiwork

Isn't this pretty!? The boys have completed the "gut" of the bathroom downstairs. Jermey has measured and is ON IT! Maybe in a couple of months I'll show you something really pretty. Right now, this is a happy site!

Side yard

Wow!
Moms done it again, made things look better, run smoother and be more
organized. Check out the side yard phase 1 looks fantastic , the boys
are on destroy mode for the down stairs bath and Dad's off to see his
kin folk for a week.

Super hero

Kyler aka "super hero" showed up on the doorstep last week. Came all the way from Arizona to be bombarded by Juneau sunshine. Already found a job, he will be a Coastal helicopter guy... exact nature of the job to be determined. Right now he is hanging with his trusty side kick "clingon"

Jack's school fair

Jack on the last days of 7th grade. They had a renaissance fair @ school. Jack was some sort of lord, thus the tunic/tights. Dad contributed a fabulous castle, completely edible.
